In addition to being the Polish banking sector's performance leader, with yearly consistency PKO Bank Polski has received awards for its products and has been ranked at the top of various prestigious league tables.

Year 2010

The highest value brand of the Polish financial sector
According to the Polish Brands 2010 ranking prepared by the Rzeczpospolita daily, PKO Bank Polski was the most valuable and the strongest brand. In terms of brand strength, it has held the top position among financial institutions for five years now, that is, in every ranking since inclusion of the financial sector entities in it.
Authors of the same league table put the leading brand's value at over PLN 3.6 billion, which represents year-over-year brand appreciation of over 15 per cent. In the context of a similar ranking The Banker magazine the PKO Bank Polski brand at 1 billion US dollars.

Product of the Year - PKO Bank Polski the winner in all five categories
Results of the Product of the Year survey ran by the Reader's Digest magazine confirm the brand strength of the biggest Polish bank. PKO Bank Polski won the sixth edition of the survey in all its three categories of Mortgage Loan, Cash Loan, Bank Account, Term Deposit and Credit. The Product of the Year 2010 certificates awarded to those financial products of the Bank confirmed them to be those the Poles most frequently and readily chose. Product of the Year is an online survey study addressed to the 40,000 Reader's Digest magazine subscribers. The choices of the respondents were entirely spontaneous.

Pearl of the Polish Economy
The banking sector leader won the title of the Pearl of the Polish Economy in the eighth annual ranking of Polish enterprises.
High revenue growth, very strong profitability of sales, debt ratios, gross return on assets, net return on equity and exceptional labour productivity were the indicators decisive to award to PKO Bank Polski of the Pearl of the Polish Economy title in the Large Pearls category. The prestigious certificate confirm that the Bank is indeed one of the elite circle of the largest and most effective Polish enterprises.
The Pearls of the Polish Economy Ranking has been prepared for the past eight years by the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Market Publishers, the publishers of the Polish Market Economic Monthly. The competition includes two raking categories: the Big Pearls (companies with given year's annual revenue of no less than PLN 100 million) and the Large Pearls (companies with revenue of no less than PLN 1 billion). The companies seeking inclusion in the ranking need to first meet specific stringent economic criteria set by the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Inteligo - Number one internet bank
The virtual arm of PKO Bank Polski Inteligo took the top position in the Internet Bank category of the eight edition of Newsweek magazine's Friendly Bank ranking. The assessment took into account such features as customer service, website navigability and reliability, and user-friendly transaction procedures.

Customer-friendly Bank
The Bank was also the winner of the sixth edition of the nationwide Customer-Friendly Company Certification Program. Nineteen institutions were awarded the certificate this year, with PKO Bank Polski being the only representative of the banking sector among them.

On Rzeczpospolita's podium
PKO Bank Polski found itself on the podium of Rzeczpospolita daily's most recent, eight ranking of the best financial institutions. In this year's PKO Bank Polski held the third position in its group of institutions.

Most universal
The Comperia.pl finance comparison site conducted a study aimed at identifying the most universal bank in Poland. The study found that PKO Bank Polski was the institution best equipped to meet the stringent customer requirements: having collected 31.5 out of the 35 possible points and being the only bank to exceed the barrier of 30 points. The Bank led in all three constituent rankings of mortgage finance, credit card and investment products.
