Contents of the report:
In connection with the intention of PKO Bank Polski S.A. (“the Bank”) to apply for a binding decision in the proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection concerning practices violating collective consumer interests, the Bank hereby informs as mentioned below.
On 27 June 2018 it created provisions amounting to PLN 63 mn which will be charged to the Bank’s results in the second quarter of 2018.
The proceedings concern practice including:
- informing consumers about changes in the terms and conditions for providing payment services through electronic banking and
- the failure to indicate in the correspondence related to the unilateral amendment of these terms and conditions the legal and factual basis justifying the amendments.
