On 29 October 2008, the General Meeting of the Open Pension Fund (PTE) BANKOWY S.A. adopted resolutions on:
- dismissing – as of the resolution adoption date – the President of the Management Board, Mr Krzysztof Lutostański, from the PTE BANKOWY S.A. Management Board,
- appointing – as of the date of obtaining a permit from the Financial Supervision Authority, pursuant to Article 59 Paragraph 1 of the Act on Organisation and Operation of Pension Funds, Mr Cezary Burzyński as the President of the PTE BANKOWY S.A. Management Board,
- appointing – as of the date of obtaining a permit from the Financial Supervision Authority, pursuant to Article 59 Paragraph 1 of the Act on Organisation and Operation of Pension Funds, Ms Katarzyna Galus as the Vice President of the PTE BANKOWY S.A. Management Board;
On 30 October 2008, the Supervisory Board of PTE BANKOWY S.A adopted a resolution on delegating a member of the Supervisory Board, Ms Katarzyna Galus to temporarily perform the function of the President of the PTE BANKOWY S.A. Management Board, as of the date of adopting this resolution to the date of obtaining a permit from the Financial Supervision Authority to appoint Mr Cezary Burzyński to the position of the President of the Company Management Board.
Cezary Burzyński – has been engaged in the market of investment funds for many years. From 09.2007 to 10.2008, he was an acting President of the PKO TFI SA Management Board. Previously, in 2004-2007 he was the President of the TFI PZU SA Management Board. From 1997 to 2004, he worked for PKO/CREDIT SUISSE Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych SA (currently PKO TFI SA) in positions connected with marketing and sale. In 2001-2004, he performed the function of the Vice President of the PKO/CREDIT SUISSE Management Board, in charge of sale and marketing. He also worked in the Ministry of International Economic Cooperation and in the United Public Relations agency. A member of the Funds and Assets Management Association in Poland. He is a graduate from the Law and Administration Faculty at the Warsaw University.
Katarzyna Galus – Ownership Supervision Director in the Department of Capital Investments in PKO BP. Previously she worked, among others, in the office of the President of the Counsel of Ministers, where she was involved in preparing draft acts under work on the state administration reform. She was an advisor for the under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Finance and at that time she worked on solutions in the self-government finance area. In the capital city of Warsaw, she was responsible for ownership supervision over capital investments of the city. She was the President of the Management Board in the municipal company Ratusz Wilanów Sp. z o.o. She performed the function of the Director in the Capital Department in the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. She was a member of supervisory boards of companies operating in chemical, property developer, logistic and highway industries. Currently, she is a member of the supervisory board in a trade and developer company. She is a graduate from the Law and Administration Faculty at the Warsaw University, she completed Post-Graduate Studies in Enterprise Management in the Common European Market at the Warsaw School of Economics, and she passed an exam for candidates for members of supervisory boards in the State Treasury companies.
