Piotr Stolarczyk
Vice President of the Management Board in charge of the International Banking Area
He holds a PhD in Economics from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, where he also graduated with a degree in Finance and Banking. Additionally, he earned a Master’s degree in European Union Business and Law from the Aarhus School of Business (Aarhus University) in Denmark, as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Warsaw. He was a scholar of the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark at the National University of Singapore. He is also a graduate of the London School of Credit Analysis and has completed numerous specialized programs in finance, banking, and management.
He brings extensive professional experience in the financial market, gained both in Poland and abroad, spanning the banking and insurance sectors as well as public institutions. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for driving business development and delivering major domestic and international projects.
From 2018 to 2026, he served as Director of the International Banking and Trade Finance Department within the Corporate and International Banking Division. In this role, he was responsible for managing trade finance, export finance, and international banking operations.
Previously, he was a Member of the Management Board at Korporacja Ubezpieczeń Kredytów Eksportowych S.A. (KUKE), where he oversaw risk management and finance, and additionally served as Acting President of the Management Board. He was also responsible for developing insurance and guarantee products to support export finance, as well as fostering cooperation with the banking sector in Poland and internationally.
From 2010 to 2014, he worked at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) as Deputy Director of the Export Support Department. His responsibilities included financing export transactions for Polish companies and developing foreign trade finance instruments. He also participated in the implementation of government export support programs, working closely with financial institutions both domestically and abroad.
His expertise further encompasses corporate governance and ownership supervision of financial and infrastructure companies, including serving as a supervisory board member and chairing specialized committees.
Since 2008, he has also pursued an academic career as a lecturer and researcher at Łazarski University in Warsaw.
