As part of the ESG project, there are ongoing efforts to publish Scope 3 emissions for 2020 – excluding the bank's loan portfolio at first but gradually expanding on the disclosure in the following years.
For the first time in 2019, we measured the Group's carbon footprint under Scope 1 and Scope 2 according to the GHG Protocol. We published data covering the direct emissions – resulting from burning of fuels in sources owned or controlled by the Group (Scope 1) and indirect – resulting from the use of purchased electricity and heating (Scope 2).
