Professor of mathematical sciences. He works at the Wrocław University of Technology, at the Faculty of Mathematics. He obtained his full doctoral degree from the University of Wrocław, and was awarded a PhD. in mathematics from the Polish Academy of Sciences. A graduate of the University of Wrocław. He gained his professional experience in various academic centres, including: Vanderbilt University (Nashville, USA), Polish Academy of Sciences, Technische University (Darmstadt, Germany), The University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Canada), Blaise Pascal University (Clermont-Ferrand, France). He has experience as a member of supervisory boards. 

He is the author of more than 85 academic publications in foreign journals on mathematics, logic and computer science as well as many books (e.g. Sztuczna inteligencja i logika [Artificial Intelligence and Logic], Wprowadzenie do informatyki [An Introduction to Computer Science], etc.). He is also the author of many opinions, reviews and expert opinions, including for the National Science Centre and the European Commission. His professional interests include the application of mathematics, logic and computer science in practice, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, digitization and argumentation theory.
