Attention to new threats on the Internet!
New versions of malware are appearing on the Internet, that – installed on the computer of the user logging into the internet service of PKO Bank Polski – can be used by criminals to execute unauthorised transactions from the accounts of customers of the bank.
Passwords, security image and certificates
A password and customer number enable to identify you as the customer of PKO Bank Polski. All operations after logging into the internet service are automatically secured by TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol, using the key of 128 bits or of a greater length.
Browser settings
When using iPKO, use browsers supporting TLS protocol. Use the latest versions of the browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome and update them periodically. Using old versions of software is dangerous. Check whether the settings of your browser are consistent with the below recommendations.
