The Management Board of Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski Spółka Akcyjna (“PKO Bank Polski S.A.” or “Bank”) hereby informs that on 26 January 2017 the Supervisory Board of the PKO Bank Polski S.A. has selected KPMG Audyt Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spółka komandytowa as the entity authorised to audit and review the financial statements of the Bank and the consolidated financial statements of the PKO Bank Polski S.A. Group in respect for the years 2017 – 2019.
KPMG Audyt Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spółka komandytowa with its registered seat in Warsaw, Inflancka 4a Street, is an audit firm registered by the National Chamber of Registered Auditors as an entity authorised to audit financial statements, with No. 3546.
The Supervisory Board of the Bank selected this entity authorised to audit and review financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations, and pursuant to paragraph 15 item 1 point 4 of the Articles of Association of the Bank.
The Bank will conclude an agreement for the audit and review of the financial statements of the Bank and the PKO Bank Polski S.A. Group in respect for the years 2017 – 2019.
Existing cooperation between KPMG Audyt Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spółka komandytowa and the Bank includes the audit and review of the financial statements of the Bank and the PKO Bank Polski S.A. Group for years 2015-2016. The Bank has used also in the past the other assurance and advisory services of KPMG Audyt Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spółka komandytowa.
