The report:
The Management Board of PKO Bank Polski S.A. (the “Bank”), in relation to the reports No. 22/2022 and No. 26/2022, hereby informs that on 20 December 2022, the Bank received the Polish Financial Supervision Authority ("PFSA") decision dated 16 December 2022, regarding a change of the other systemically important institution (O-SII) buffer imposed on the Bank.
Pursuant to this PFSA's decision, the Bank is currently required to maintain the O-SII buffer in the amount equivalent to 2.00% of the total risk exposure amount calculated in accordance with Art. art. 92 par. 3 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No. 575/2013 of 26 June 2013 on prudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms, amending Regulation (EU) No. 648/2012.
The previous buffer was 1.00% of the total risk exposure amount calculated in accordance with Article. 92 clause 3 of Regulation No. 575/2013.
