The proceeds obtained from subordinated bonds will increase the Tier 2 capital of the PKO Bank Polski S.A.

Content of the report:

With reference to Reports No. 1/2018 and 4/2018, the Management Board of PKO Bank Polski S.A. (the “Bank”) announces that on 8 March 2018  the Polish Financial Supervision Authority gave its consent to use the proceeds obtained from the issue of subordinated bonds, which was carried out on 5 March 2018 with a total nominal value of PLN 1,000,000,000, in order to increase the Tier 2 capital of the Bank in accordance with Article 127 par. 2 pt. 2 of the Banking Law with reference to Article 63 of the Regulation (EU) No. 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013 on prudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms and amending Regulation (EU) No 648/2012.
