    Apply for a personal account

    Proceed to the conclusion of the online agreement

    If you open an account with a selfie:
    Your account will be active after the conclusion of the agreement. In the email, we will send you the login details for the iPKO website and the IKO mobile application

    If you open an account in the "courier" option:
    Within 2 working days from the conclusion of the agreement, the courier will provide you with a debit card (if ordered) and 1 document to sign: Confirmation of your identity and a signature model

    Activate online access

    Activate online access to your personal account via the iPKO website or IKO mobile application, and you will gain access to your funds

    Call us

    Prepare the information you need to open an account and call 800 302 302 or for mobile phone at +48 81 535 60 60. If you are already a customer of our bank, dial 2 on the telephone keypad, then 1 and follow the instructions of the speaker to connect with the consultant. Our consultant will guide you step by step and fill out the application for an account for you.

    Agreement

    The agreement for signature will be provided by the courier. When signing the agreement, show the courier the document that series and number are given in the application. If you open a joint account, the agreement shall be also signed by the other person.

Questions and Answers

  • Prepare the following data and you will easily fill out the application for an account:

    • Name and surname, family name
    • Mother's maiden name
    • Date and place of birth, nationality 
    • PESEL
    • Series and ID number
    • Mobile phone number (Polish operator) 
    • Email address
    • Address of residence and mailing address

    If you are a taxpayer of another country, for example the United States, prepare your tax identification number.

    Remember!

    • If you are setting up a joint account,
      please also provide the account co-owner information in the application.
    • If you are setting up an account for a minor,
      please provide the data of the legal guardian/parent in the application, and instead of the child's ID/passport you can enter the data of the school ID.
    • If you want to convert your account / add an account proxy,
       please visit the PKO Bank Polski branch. Adding a proxy is possible through the iPKO service only if he is already a client of PKO Bank Polski and he has access to the iPKO service.

1 From the moment of signing the agreement by the customer until the identification document is presented in the branch, the customer may use the account in a limited mode, i.e.:

  • The daily limit of transactions to the account is 10 000 PLN (it cannot be waived)
  • you cannot manage the limits of a debit card issued to this account
  • the inability to use the e-office and the entire functionality of the state administration, e.g. submitting a 500+ application
  • it is not possible to order more than one debit card to the account, except to reserve and order another card at the same time
  • It is not possible to change the limits for IKO
