If you send a foreign transfer to Turkey, describe the purpose of the payment in the Title, eg "payment for the invoice". Transfers in excess of TRY 250,000.00 or USD 50,000.00 or its equivalent in another currency are additionally verified. If you do not specify the purpose of the payment, the recipient's bank may return the transfer or withhold it until obtain further details.
